Accommodation at Bush Lodge caters for a maximum of sixteen guests. The Lodge building, of wood and thatch, is unique in its construction and offers magnificent views of the surrounding African veld and wildlife from the upper deck.

Breakfast at Bush Lodge is a full English buffet.

Lunch is a simple affair: with hot and cold dishes, and afternoon tea includes fresh bakes. Dinner is a four-course meal. Renowned chef Suzi Holtzhausen has created the menus at Bush Lodge.

Sumptuous dinners are either served in the dining room or under the African sky, around a roaring fire in the boma.

ACTIVITIES

Morning safaris start early so as not to miss the magic of the African sunrise and most animals are active at this time of day.

The safari experience here is unique in that we do not only concentrate on the Big Five, but you can also learn about the history of the reserve and how the Tsongas once lived on this land alongside the animals.
