ACTIVITIES
Fancy some exercise? Inyati has the only fully equipped air conditioned gym in the Sabi Sands. What better and different surroundings for a strenuous workout? Relax and enjoy the fully stocked cocktail bar, the "Warthog Wallow", for a pre-dinner drink or nightcap and mingle with other guests to swap stories of the day's exciting moments. Inyati is renowned for its superb cuisine. Enjoy delicious breakfasts and expansive buffet lunches on the patio with its magnificent views across the river. Sumptuous dinners accompanied by fine South African wines are served around a roaring fire in the convivial atmosphere of the candlelit boma. The evening game drive often ends in the middle of the bush where a meal is prepared over open fires and you dine al fresco under a blanket of stars surrounded by the haunting sounds of the African night.
The Inyati Safari is unsurpassed. Morning and evening game drives in specially designed Land Rovers take you deep into the bush frequently going off-road to track the major wildlife species - elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, the endangered cheetah and wild dog. At Inyati, it is not unusual to see the Big 5 in a single day - along with giraffe, zebra, hippo and the many varieties of antelope. Savour the moment as the sun sinks below the trees and you stop for sundowners surrounded by wildest Africa before embarking on a night drive where the spotlight and the keen eyes of the tracker pick-up the major predators and the equally fascinating shy smaller animals such as genet, porcupine, civet and bushbaby.
