Activities at Sabi Sabi Game Reserve
Sabi Sabi has amongst the finest game viewing of Africa’s wildlife, this is probably because that animals in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve have not been hunted for approximately 50 years. The animals have become habituated to perceive the silhouette of a vehicle carrying guests as non-threatening. Tourists can therefore look forward to the unique experience of being driven off road very close to the high profile animals, especially large cats which, although they are wild, carry out their behaviour unperturbed, hunting, feeding, mating and caring for their young. Safaris in open Land Rover game viewing vehicles drive into the bushveld of Sabi Sabi in search of the wild life to share with guests. After breakfast, guests are invited to join their Ranger on a guided walk, wonderful for guests to experience the natural environment on foot. The skilled Rangers focus more on the animals normally missed on the game drives, as well as the tracks and markings left as bush communication tools.
